Question External HDD detection problem ?

hello guys
i gotta get some data from an old external hdd of mine it s a toshiba stor e partner and i kinda have some problems with it
I get the code 45 when i m connecting it to my pc i think my drivers are too old but from what i know it should have it s own integrated driver for any kind of pc .
i can t access it anyway.

so the thing is it appears in this pc but i can't see it in disk management but i can see it listed in device' s manager at the disk drives section but as a "usb mass storage" not an actual disk.

i tried reformatting the disk & changing the letter for the drive & I uninstalled the device and restarted the pc in order to let windows install the required driver and the most updated one& I updated the usb root hub and usb mass storage drivers and it still didn t work& tried sfc /scannow and chkdsk cmd commands still nothing .

this are my full specs:
asrock 970 pro3 r2.0
fx 8320 black edition 4.5 ghz
16 gb ram 1600 mhz
one seagate barracuda 1 tb 7200 rpm
gtx 750 ti 2gb
Windows 10 Pro with latest update

I transfered the data to another drive before formatting but i need to connect the hdd to the pc to this pc mentioned in here
i m not that dumb ))

Connect the drive directly to your desktop pc with sata cables (remove it from USB enclosure).

the hdd only has some sort of other type of connector and at the moment i don t have any other cable to connect it trough

yeah so that s the only compatible cable wtih the hdd

and one more thing i tried deleting 2 registry keys fo the hdd to work :
Lowerfilter and Upfilter
and after i did that my pc got stuck on windows logo everytime i was turning it on so i had to use a sysem restore point using the installation media
