External HDD Enclosures

I have two external hdd one for my xbox one and the other for my pc now on the back of both they have a power button/switch when i turn off the console or pc do i also turn off the external enclosure one is a icy dock blizzard enclosure and the other is a wd elements

sorry for the typo i fixed it i meant when i turn off the console or pc do i also turn off the external enclosure or should i leave it on the icy dock has a fan that spins and the wd elements has no fan as far as i know but it has a light that blinks when the pc is off

Yes. Turn them off when you don't want to use them.
