External HDD not showing on after fall

I have a 2TB WD HDD that took a fall . After that i can't find it on my computer . The HDD is making spinning noise but nothing is happening.
I took the HDD out and connected directly to my computer. Under disk management the computer it not showing it there.
Any advice on what is wrong with HDD. to do ??

It is damaged (hard drives don't tolerate being dropped or rough treatment). Throw it away & buy a new one.
Let's suppose you did get it working, would you really want to use it after being dropped? I wouldn't.

Agreed. Your drive is damaged, possibly beyond repair. Buy a new one.

Unfortunately, I would agree with the other guys and say that the HDD is most probably damaged. You can't really be sure which component exactly though. In case you want go retrieve your data, I would advise you to use the services of a professional data recovery company.
