This isn't your OS drive (drive with windows installed), right?
Also, can you verify if the drive is indeed working, and not faulty?
3.5" HDDS need a power adapter on USB interface.
Don't see where 12v power is coming from, Those ere 2 different USB adapters.i have the one above
In the model above, the red black yellow cable gets the power via 220/ 5-12v transformerDon't see where 12v power is coming from, Those ere 2 different USB adapters.
it was working fine as an internal disc, I don't understand why it won't work in external one ???Do you have a PC to test the HDD if its working without the adapter?
It could also be a problem with the adapter or its connection.
What is "mu unit"?Hi, I just plug in my HDD 3.5 To mu Unit Via SATA /USB Adapter, but the screen immediately goes black !!!!!!
Can you link the actual adapter you're using, rather than a low quality *picture* of it?
I don't have another HDD and yes the adapter is newdid the adapter work with another HDD (if you have any) or was the adapter purchased new, and was never tested on any other HDD?
i suspect the adapter
If it is a desktop pc, thenNO Unit desktop
If it is a desktop pc, then
can't you install HDD internally into your pc? (without using any usb sata adapters)
