Question external Nvme ssd not detected

It a PC300 SK hynix ssd.
I hav it in a nvme ssd enclsure. (qnine)
When i connect it the enclousre conroller is the only thing that appears. and it un intilazable, unknown, and has no size.
I know the ssd is working because its heating up. Triead reseating, but nothing changes. i also tried connecting it to a rasberry pi. has no luck detecting it.
What do i do.

What precise enclosure do you have? Googling around I found this:

The illustration suggests not all M.2 SSDs will work with it; could be the same with yours.

So it should work. Checked all other points of possible failure like cables and ports?

One customer mentions something similar to what you're experiencing, so it could be a faulty unit.

I think it the ssd problem, but i think its just some sort of softeare prob. their is heat generated when plugging the ssd

i used it for tranfering data on a 970 evo and it works like charm
