I have many RAW (converted to DNG) photos on my hardrive including my lightroom catalogue and backups of the catalogue. I was using my computer an hour ago, opened up the lightroom application like normal and then it crashed, went into task manager to close it down but end task didn't do anything.
I force powered down my laptop (xps13 9360) and turned it back on, the drive was in the whole time. The screen then froze on the dell logo and wouldn't boot up like usual. I then force powered it down again and removed the hard drive. This time it booted up like normal. But now when I connect the hardrive it doesn't appear in file explorer, it shows up in connected devices as well as when I click on the safely remove USB, however for some reason it can't remove the device. Any help would be much appreciated as I have a lot of work on that hard drive. Thank you
