I plan to build a new gaming PC. I am looking at an external sound card for PC gaming with secondary uses being music listening and basic YouTube video content creation (planning to start a YouTube channel in the near future). In addition to PC gaming headsets (Logitech G432) I plan to connect my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones for music listening, 2.1 speakers (undecided, but likely from reputable brands such as Creative Labs and Logitech), and an entry-level studio microphone (undecided on model at this time). If it helps, I haven't decided on a motherboard model yet but I plan to go with an AMD X870 motherboard from a reputable brand such as Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI. Also, I am open to other internal and external sound card options and suggestions if they better meet my needs. I have researched several brands. Asus does not appear to offer external sound cards in the US market anymore. Fiio seems to focus only on music. The only brand that looks promising is Creative Labs Sound Blaster external sound cards. Would I be better off going with the Sound Blaster X G6, Sound Blaster GC7, G8, or something else?
Thanks in advance.
