External Soundcard for 5.1 Speaker

Hello, i'm from Jakarta, Indonesia

I have a budget for about 150-170$ and planning to upgrade my laptop audio system (which only support 2 channel) to 5.1 channel speaker.

i found Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Surround 5.1 External Sound Card and Creative Inspire T6100 Speaker and have about 140$ total price combined in my country.

but i'm still confuse with the cable port available in this Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Surround 5.1.
AFAIK for front left & right speaker we use 3.5mm connector with lime green color, but on this device they separated front left & right speaker to 2 ports (left -> white; right -> red)

is that external soundcard compatible to Inspire T6100 (or other 5.1 speaker) cable for front speakers ?
are you guys have an alternate speaker with cost around 100$ besides Inspire T6100 ?

You'll need Stereo Male RCA to 3.5 mini female jack adaptor.
