External SSD? How Do I Utilize It?

So recently my uncle has given me 6 external ssds. Each has 60gbs and they are sata 6gbps. He referred to me a external sad and HDD dock to use it but i dont have a clue on what to do after that. You will insert the SSD into the hard drive dock, which will plug into one of your USB ports. The hard drive dock will have instructions for you to follow, unless he gave you one without instructions. What hard drive dock do you have? All work pretty much in the same way. I've used a lot of them.

if the ssd's are external they will already be housed in an enclosure. just plug and play.if you need to supply an enclosure or dock they are not external drives.
if they are not in an enclosure they can be installed inside of your computer just like a regular HDD via the SATA cable and power supply.
