Hey there yunggeh.

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your drive. Have you experienced any problems with that HDD prior to this problem? I'd recommend that you try the HDD with a different USB cables, to see if the same thing happens. Would you please open Disk Management and post a screenshot of what you see there? Check if the drive is recognized in Device Manager as well.
Besides the USB cable option, you could try accessing the drive via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD, to see if it's properly recognized and if you can get to your files, or try with data recovery software: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html. Of course the most reliable option remains, a data recovery company - WD Data Recovery Partners

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.

I tried differenct Cables, I used the external harddrive to watch a movie on my LED TV but when i later unplugged it and put it on my computer it doesn't do anything.. it makes the detection sound but nothing happens it doesn't say reconized or not just nothing happens if i unplug the hard drive it makes the noise that i took it out hmmmm

I see. Do you have any important data which you wish to recover, or it is all downloadable media, which you might be willing to lose? I'm asking because if you try reformatting, the process is data destructive, but this could be a solution as well. Before you try out anything else, please post a screenshot of Disk Management (you can use imgur.com to upload the image) with the WD external drive connected to the computer. Here's how to access it: How to access Disk Management in Windows to manage hard drives.
