ExternalHardDisk turned into 32gb

So heres the story.
I used my 1tb hard disk to install windows 10 on my pc etc etc. after everything was done, i noticed my hd is now named "esd-usb" and is now only 32gb. All my movies, docs, etc. is now missing all it contained. I tried reformatting it to NTFS but it is still 32gb.

how do i return this back to 1tb?

Help pls or im dead to my sister thank you in advance!

That is really unpleasant. 🙁

You will need to use some partition recovery tool. Keep in mind that you may not be able to recover the data that was already overwritten.
There are many threads on partition recovery in the community.
