Hey there
I accidently bought a gtx 970 along with my 3* 980 ti's.
I can't refund it and my mobo supports quad sli.
So can i connect the 970 with the 3 ti's and if not then what to do with it
PS-I have another rig with a single 960 and its mobo supports dual sli
Thanks

Solution
I don't know what you would want 4 x GTX 980s for. 3 x SLI will be just as good, but you'll still be limited by available VRAM of 4GB.
I guess you could put the GTX 970 in the other PC and retire the GTX 960.

Edit: My mistake, GTX 980 Ti with 6GB of VRAM. Either way, the performance difference between 3 way or 4 way SLI will be pretty small.

You can't SLI a GTX 980 Ti and GTX 970.

You could use the GTX 970 as a dedicated PhysiX card or as part of Direct X 12's multi GPU implementation but I'm not sure if you would get much of a benefit either way.
