Hi I recently purchased a EKWB water cooling kit.

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-kit-p360

The CPU block has 2 little alcoves to insert LED's which also came with the package. But the LED's have a 3 pin connector (only the first 2 pins are used) that looks like its intended to fit in a fan header on the motherboard.

Is this safe?

All LED's ive found online are meant to be connected to molex. I am not sure if there are resistors in the cable or not, I think it might.

Solution
According to the manual the LED y cable should plug directly into a molex connector on your PSU. Unless you're talking about this

which should go onto any 3 or 4 pin fan header on your motherboard though do note that the PWM fan header from your pump should go to the CPU fan header on your motherboard.

Thanks for confirming! It was the one on the image but all google searches were returning the molex version. I plugged it into a cpu chassis fan header on the motherboard and it is working as intended.
