Hi all,

We have a HP 4200N networked printer that seems to want to print an
extra blank page after most jobs. This uses a jetdirect and the network
is all Win2000/XP workstations. I know the Novell used to have a config
to add/remove header/trailer pages, but windows doesnt seem to have this
option I can find anywhere. Is this printer based, and where to turn
off that trailing page feed??
Thanks,
Mike

Depends--are you sending print jobs on port 9100 ("Standard TCP/IP
Port") or lpd?

If you're sending lpd print jobs, you can disable the lpd banner page
with JetAdmin or by telnetting to the JetDirect, typing banner:0 and
then saving the options.

I created the "standard tcp/ip port" in windows as the printer's port
