Hey everyone,

I got a question about this partition that was created after reinstalling windows.
2 days ago my windows 10 crashed during a windows update, and had to use windows media creation tool to reinstall windows. I followed this guide :

I now have windows reinstalled, and I converted from Mbr to UEFI.
QUESTION: I have a 5gb partition that I had created (following the guide I posted), which contains folders like EFI, Sources, Support, and I am wondering if I can delete this partition or how to get rid of it.

Thanks!
Greg

Solution
So D: is the partition, you want to delete. Right?
Yes, you can delete it. But you can not add freed up space to C: partition
(without 3rd party partition management tools and shifting partitions around).

can you right click start
choose disk management
expand the following window to show all columns
take a screenshot, upload it to an image hosting website and show link here.

We see what it looks like before we say anything :)

Show screenshot from Disk Management first.
If the partition in question contains active bootloader, then by deleting it, you will make your system unbootable. It will be necessary to recreate bootloader then.
Also there might not be any easy way of adding freed up space from deleted partition to OS partition.
Most likely best option is to leave everything as is.
