Hi there,

Just a quick question.
My N770-2GD5/OC GTX 770 2gb runs at about 80c at 100% load, which I think is under the maximum and it's always stable, 79-81c playing Metro Last Light or Tomb Rider. My question is, is it worth it to put and extra PCI slot cooling fan just under my GPU (my GPU has only 1 fan further from the end of the case)? Would that effect performance? Or is it better just to leave it as it is? Also I have one intake from the top lower and exhaust top higher. Thanks for the answers

The reference model GPU's have a blower style fan they get a bit warm but 79-81 is warm but not melting hot. Your case needs more ventilation it sounds like these coolers work fine when they are fed enough cool air. open up the side panel on your case and run the same test.

Thanks for the answer. I will leave it as it is then. Also my motherboard has only 1 system fan slot, so intake is on psu and exhaust is on motherboard. Also I have one more slot for fan on the side, in the middle. so maybe it's better to but intake from the front and exhaust from the back on psu and then the middle one as an intake on motherboard, just to keep the balance?
