Extra ram installed, I'm confused. Help!

Hi all,
I bought an extra 16gb of ram (2x8gb) to bump it up to 32gb.
Identical sticks. I am getting conflicting amounts of ram from various programs including the bios.
Please see various screen shots where you can see conflicting read outs and I'm not sure what to believe.
The board is Asus z170 pro gaming.

your MB should support 64gb so I would check max memory box in msconfig to see if it is checked. command prompt then msconfig then boot advanced options check max mem unchecked

Getting unmatched kits of ram to work together is problematical at best, impossible at worst! Even the exact same kits, especiallyu if purchased at differen t times, can have issues. Even ram manufacturers won't guarantee their unmatched ram to work together. If just any two (or four) sticks would work, there wouldn't be a need for matched sets.
