Question Extracting encrypted files from a disk image (*.img) ?

Hello everyone

I made an image file of a disk partition and I'm trying to extract encrypted files from it. The encrypted folders and files shows in green letters in PowerISO. When I try to extract a file the program shows an error that "the operation failed because the file is encrypted". I tried 7zip and the files extracted but were corrupted. Unencrypted files extract normally.

Any ideas?

Ps/ Windows encryption, image file was made with Ubuntu.

How you encrypted these folders?
What happens when you restore this image back to the PC it came from?

You're going to have to find a way to mount the image as a drive.
