Trying to extract a .exe from a compressed folder while on a Windows 7 Professional 64bit. The .exe does not extract from the compressed folder when trying to use either 7zip or winrar but the .txt file inside the folder does extract. Tried extracting the .exe directly from inside the compressed folder and get the following error when using 7zip:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
I've already checked my permissions and I have full control over the folder itself. What am I doing wrong?
