Extreme CPU Usage/Temp with Razer SDK

Using the keyboard visualizer for the Razer Black Widow keyboard results in CPU temp of 70C+ and 16% CPU usage. Idle for my system is around 50C and 0-1%. Is this normal? Can I lower the temp and usage somehow? Seems like a lot for keyboard lights. Thanks.

GPU: GTX 970
CPU: i7-2600 @ 3.4 GHZ
RAM: 20 GB

1| You're system's specs is incomplete and the first few information look off.
2| Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your keyboard software?
3| What sort of a cooler are you using for your system?
4| Check to see that there aren't any other apps running int eh background
5| Are you running on Windows 10? If so try and perform a repair install or a reinstall of OS using a recreated bootable USB installer.
6| How did you manage to populate your system with 20GB of ram? Can you please pass on their specs?
7| If the issue cropped up after Razer's SDK, you may want to see if uninstalling it brings your temps and usages down.
