Hey, i found an a4 4000 collecting dust so i thought I'd consider what sort of build i could get out of it. if it's worth it
Looking for any advice on an extreme low cost build around an a4 4000 8) just needs to be able to power on and watch youtube

Solution
A $200 computer build including a standard Logitech keyboard and mouse (excluding the CPU, hard drive and, optical drive).

EDIT: Looking at the forum posts about using the integrated graphics, I changed my build so now it's $160 :D

I see you edited your post xD it looks a lot better, just a quick question, i have an 8350 stock cooler and some thermal paste hanging around could i use that to cool this?

Yes you can use that cooler, I did on a A8 5600K

The APU's integrated graphics is a little better than that discrete card all you need is faster ram for the chip to make use of it. Make sure to overclock taking it to 4ghz alone would make a nice difference for a little Dual core.

Thought you were using it to play games, I didn't see the part where you said you'll only be watching youtube XD. And yes, you'll be able to use the stock cooler. But you might not need the cooler at all since all you're doing is watch youtube.

I changed my build, and it's a bit cheaper than delaro's. Check it out and see if you still are 100% sure that delaro's build is better.
