I have an AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4ghz quad core, my pc is always loud, and after playing some games it starts smelling like burning plastic. When i turn it on, it varies from 75-85 degrees celsius, after turning on internet, it varies from 85-95 degrees celsius, as of writing this with only 2 tabs open on Mozilla Firefox, it is on 91 degrees celsius. What do i need to do? I am going to clean it up today but i wanna get some advice first. I bought it pre built and i'm not hardware-savvy.

My quick bit of advice, go to the library of youtube and lookup computer cleaning and thermal compound replacement videos. Familiarize yourself before attempting this and if you have any doubts at all stop what your doing and seek more help.

If yuu have not messed with voltages/overclock probably your CPU cooler is not working and/or is not placed correctly, have no thermal comphound between the cpu and the heatsink or something like that.

What i would try:
- Set the processor to stock clock and voltages
- Check that the cpu fan is working
- Remove the cpu cooler (if is a stock one replace with a proper aftermarket one), reapply thermal paste and put the cooler again.

Test if it's works

The way i clean it is take out the right side of case, use tissues and the thins you use to wipe your ears (those little sticks), i take the pc on the terrace and use the hairdryer on it while pc is standing on the terrace facing the sky
I didn't overclock anything
and sadly i don't know where is which part of processor and i'm afraid of doing something to damage it physically, as far as i know i have a stock cooler, i don't know how much an after one costs and how to put it on though, i don't know to use thermal paste neither, i'm as beginner as it goes regarding hardware, could you chew it out for me please? I just wanna figure it out before it gets dangerous.

To apply the thermal gel remove the stock cooler and wipe the surface of the CPU and the cooler with some alcohol solution to remove the previous layer of compound.
Then place a pea size drop of the gel right in the middle of the CPU and place the cooler carefully over it.
Get a better cooler soon and redo this process.
Also make sure that your fan is running at the highest possible speed from the bios.
When a CPU overheats it starts thermal throttling reducing the overall performance of the PC and excessive heating can also lead to hardware failure.

I called my godfather who is really good with computers and especially hardware, he's the one who helped me find the right pc for me and says that i shall vacuum it and clean it fully. I will try to do so and not replace anything since i'm thinking of getting another graphics card and i don't have the money for a cooler too. I think vacuuming will be enough but i'll tell ya if something goes down after it too.

I cleaned it out, it had a lot of dust, it lowered but still is not very good. It isn't as loud anymore and that's good, but now, when i turn it on it lowered from nearly 80 degrees celsius to around 70, when i use internet it lowered from 95-100 degrees celsius to 80-85. Should that be okay?

When i turn it on, instead of 85-95 it's around 45-55, when i turn on internet it isn't 95-100 anymore now it's 70-75, i'm currently writing this and downloading a game on Steam, it's 73. I'll check it out on gaming too.
