So yeah I had this crappy ZTE router since 2008 and it worked great till it died out a few weeks ago.
I bought a new D-Link router which is supposed to be a thousand times better than my old one but my pings increased from like 200s (which is normal where I live) to 800-1200s in League of Legends and other games. Although its not always in the 1000 area, more like 20% of the time its normal, but the rest 80% its high af. I also tried pinging google from the command prompt and same results.. 20% normal, 80% in the 1000s. This has ruined my experience, please help me out with it.
P.S. the D-Link guy did make me do some stuff to the router settings which you access with your IP that I have no idea about, so yeah just wanted to put it out there.
