Currently I'm having an extremely odd issue with my Logitech G500s mouse (yes it's very old).
When I try to use the mouse, initially for the first click it will work and then after that I can no longer click anything, both with the mouse and the built-in track pad on my laptop. To describe it, it is almost as if a transparent program is open in front of everything because even if I alt+tab to an open window, when I click anywhere the window will de-focus, as if I was clicking the desktop or another program in front of it.
This leads me to believe it is some sort of software issue, as the click on the mouse still actually works. This continues to happen when I unplug the mouse and use the laptop trackpad, until I restart the laptop.
I have tried lots of things, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, reinstalling Logitech's G software; all unsuccessful. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? Would love some help, thanks!
