Extremely slow download speeds after W10 upgrade

Hi all a bit of a big problem here.

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I've already updated all my network cards, GPU drivers and whatnot but whenever I download something, particularly through Steam and Origin the download speeds are extremely slow.

Before the upgrade my average download speed on steam was 15 MBps (Megabytes per second). Now the download speed has dropped down to a measly 400 KBps. The issue here is the same with Origin. Can anyone please advise me on how to solve this issue?

I'd hate to wait for hours to download Just Cause 3 when it comes out if this problem is still occurring...

I would google speed test and see what what the test results say...

15 MBps is 120 Mbps (Megabits per second) Which is very fast.
Anyway, if the speed test results are poor then call your ISP and ask them what's going on. If the results are excellent then it could have been an issue with the data path to the server you downloaded from. OR you may be using a driver that has issues...

Bottom line is I would run a speed test if I was you.
