Eye Strain- Will a 4k Monitor Help?

I work on a computer for between 9 and 12 hours a day on average (university student also running a business) and have been getting bad eye strain from my monitors. I use my monitors heavily for text based uses, such as Excel and document creation/editing. I do not game but work in Photoshop. I currently have a Samsung S27D590 27" monitor and due to space restrictions, am required to be quite close to the monitor to work. I can notice the text is "fuzzy" and pixalated when reading.

I have good eyesight (no glasses) and want to keep my eyes healthy. Would a 4k monitor such as the Dell 27 Ultra HD 4K Monitor – P2715Q help with this issue?

I have tried eye drops, as well as f.lux and adjusting setting but nothing is helping. I am not afraid to spend money on this as I spend a lot of time on a computer and my eyes are very important to me.

Any advice would be great!

yes it looks closer to real life and causes less strain on the eye because it dose not try to pick out individual pixels

i also recently started using flux and it has helped alot
