Question EZ CPU debug light

Recently decided to upgrade my CPU.

AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) -> AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor

I have tried to swap out the processors multiple times and reseat the 2700, but I consistently get the EZ debug CPU and DRAM lights turning on and no display.

My motherboard is: B350M BAZOOKA (MS-7A38)

please help!

(PC still works when my old CPU is back in place)

I looked on msi's website and the recommended BIOS update for the CPU came out in 2018, and I checked mine and it is running on a 2017 version. Im guessing this is the problem but I never have flashed a BIOS update...
