I just finished this build and ran fine for a week till my dumb ass couldnt leave well enough alone and tried fitting 2 more hdd's in microatx case needless to say i got ezdebug cpu light power to board but no post. this is my 15th build over last 25yrs . swapped out psu ,reseatted cpu and disconnected everything except cpu led still on and no post i replaced cpu and led still on no post . I did cmos battery and cleared bios with jumper ! no doubt it is the MB does anyone know of a way to save Mb or a way to fix it ? oh, and pc speaker gives no cpu detected beep pattern

Have you tried leaving single RAM module and testing each RAM in different slots?

An option would be returning both board and CPU, to be replaced, if under warranty.
