I got a msi h310 motherboard with ez debug led
After a power cut my pc refused to boot so to check if the motherboard is dead I tried to start the pc with bare minimum components the LEDs didn't light up not did the psu fan was working so I shorted the fan pins from 24 pin cable in psu the fan started working what can I do to find out the problem here

Most likely a PSU issue then. Does your system boot properly ?

If none of the EZ Debug LED lights on your computer motherboard are lighting up but the system still won’t POST, it usually indicates that there is NO issue with the major components that the EZ Debug LED system monitors, such as the CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage devices.

This may most likely be an issue related to your power supply unit. So, the first point of the call will be to verify the connections. Ensure that the 24-pin ATX power supply connector is securely plugged into the motherboard.

Also make sure the power button is properly connected to the motherboard and functioning correctly. Double-check the front panel connections.

For the PSU, check to see if the power plugs are properly connected and that the electrical socket supplies electricity.

Try resetting the CMOS by locating the CMOS battery on the motherboard and removing it for a few minutes. Then, reinsert the battery and try powering on the system again.

If you have multiple RAM sticks installed, try removing one at a time and test each stick individually. Make sure the RAM modules are properly seated in the slots.

The system doesn't boot the psu fans doesn't spin either the system was working fine till the power surge to check if psu had failed I did check if fan was running but shorting the 4th and 5th pins it was running with no problems too
