I am trying to fix my computer. I had it die on me a few weeks ago and I have hit so many road blocks.
Currently:
MSI b760 gaming plus wifi MOBO
i5-13600k CPU
MSI liquid cooler
Gen3 m.2 SSD
Corsair 750w modular PSU
2x 16gb corsair PAR
PNY 1070 GPU
As stated in title, I am getting a single flash from the CPU debug light and then nothing.
When I first hooked everything up I was getting a RAM debug light alternating with the CPU debug light but it changed to just the quick flash CPU light. I removed the CPU and found 1 bent pin. I corrected the bent pin and now cannot see any difference between pins in the CPU socket.
I have tried doing the CPU, cooler, and 1 stick of ram thing and I get the exact same response.
When only using the 24 pin Mobo connector I get the exact same thing, just a quick flash of the CPU debug light then nothing.
I have tried inside and outside the case.
Is my Mobo fried or is it more likely my CPU?
Edit: After unplugging all but 1 HDD from the CPU and sata cables I now am able to boot to bios. Just need a new m.2 SSD since the one I had windows on is not recognizing in bios and is getting extremely hot when the computer is on for only a minute. I also smell some burning plastic coming from ssd.
