EZ overlock on mobo bios

With the asrock extreme 4 z370 motherboard and an i7 8700k. There is an option in the bios called Ez Overclock I assume it stands for easy. Would That safely overclock my cpu if I say did 4.3 ghz to start off with? Would it apply correct voltage and stuff. Thanks

I wouldn't trust it, tried that in the BIOS for "haha's" before on a Asrock Z97 Extreme6 and it pushed my voltage way too high.

I agree with wild card. Tried it on my ASUS Strix Z270, same results many different voltages were set quite a bit higher than whats required for my cpu to run stable at the 5ghz frequency it applied. Auto OC's get pretty liberal with voltage to assure that the OC profiles will work on the vast majority of CPU's.
