Ezdebug boot light

Hi, sorry to sound repetitive and I've browsed all relevant posts on here. I'm new to pc building and I'm having ez debug boot issues as others have.
Set up
A320 grenade msi mobo
Ryzen 3 1300x
Crucial ballistix sport 8gb
Brand new 1to hhd seagate barracuda
Used 120gb ssd
As I boot up all ez lights flash on and off but boot stays on.... I get no bios as screen says no signal
Any help appreciated for a noon builder.

You need a videocard for a Ryzen. Since Ryzens dont have integrated gfx

Is your "used" SSD from a previous working build? Are you trying to use it as the boot drive?

Yeah sorry forgot to list that. I have msi aero itx graphics card fitted.

No i'm using a brand new seagate hhd as a boot drive. Ssd is not plugged in.

Also I've asked msi direct if they knew of any resolve. The reply from them was my bios will need an update. Thats great but how do I update bios if I'm getting nothing on screen?
Sorry for noob questions, first ever pc build.

Sata 1 will be the boot drive right?
