EZdesk Help!!

How do you disable EZdesk? I'm running win95 and just can't find it let alone disable it. running msconfig doesn't work.

What the heck is EZdesk?

My scanner software started some app that would sit in the systray. I did a ctrl+alt+del to find the name of the app in the Close Program box. Then I:

1. Backed up my registry.

2. Ran regedit.

3. Searched for the executable being loaded and deleted its entry.

4. Rebooted.

Since I don't know what EZdesk is, I can't say that I advise this, but it's one way to get rid of programs launched from the Registry...assuming this one is. I also assume you already checked the Startup group and couldn't find it.

No offense intended, but I don't know you level of expertise. If you're not familiar with editing the Registry, I'd read up on it before attempting anything.
