[SOLVED] F series i5 dilemma

I bought a i5-9400F and GA-M310m S2P MB not realizing the implications of the non-gpu processor.

The MB needs a video card (no problem) but the MB only supports the CPU after BIOS version F12.

If the MB is not yet up to F12, I assume there will be no display, so how does one flash the BIOS?

Will I need to find a non F series CPU just so I can flash the BIOS, and then install the 9400F ?

Not so much an implication of the "non-GPU" CPU.... moreso a CPU that launches after the board.

If there board does not have a BIOS that supports the CPU, then you'll need a compatible CPU to flash the BIOS.
