I have have a problem with a new build I have started. Every since I put it together I have got a No Signal input screen on my monitor / nothing when connected via HDMI to my Sony TV.
Parts are:
F2-A85-V Pro (New)
AMD Athlon II X4 750k
GC X11 Advanced X Station Case
2 x Crucial 4GB DDR3
800w (230v) power Supply
I've had the board and CPU sent away as I thought this was the issue but it was tested and passed which leaves me confused.
This board has a built in graphics card.
At the moment I only have VGA connected to monitor, Both PSU cables connected 8 pin 24 pin, 1 stick on DDR3 in A2 slot (as recommended) and one additional fan. I also have the front I/0 connectors all connected.
The board gets power and both heat sink fan and additional fan power on and stay strong. Powers supply should be adequate anyway, I get a start up flash of a RED light on the DRAM LED this happens which either stick and reading more into this the lights stays red when there is a problem and off when there is not so I'm sure it's an initial check. When I boot with no RAM I get a steady Red light.
I have no built in speakers for a beep test and do not get a POST beep on start up obviously.
So I know the m/board works and something I have is stopping it from displaying. The monitor and cable both work as I've mirrored this using a netbook. However when i connect the Netbook to the monitor and go into the BIOS it again shows no signal input i'm not sure if this is a limitation of connecting though the netbook with a VGA cable as the drivers needed may be installed on windows or it's with the really old monitor (Video7 L19WA http://www.cnet.com/products/v7-l19wa-lcd-monitor-19/specs/). Looking too much into it maybe. The end goal is to get it working with my Sony LCD TV and this does not show post either just a black screen.
I've looked at numerous threads regarding this but with no luck.
I think it can be the RAM or PSU but both seem like they work well.
Any help would be most apprciated.
Thanks
David
