F2A85-M LE graphics

I have built a new PC with an ASUS F2A85-M LE mobo with 8GB ram and an AMD A8 CPU. I have installed Win8 64bit, this all works fine. I have installed the latest patched GTA IV, this auto configured to full HD and very high detail, but was too sluggish to play. However even at 1280x1024 and low detail the game is sluggish. I also have an ASUS Radeon 7770 HD card. I installed this, set the BIOS to multiple graphics, but the card seems to not b recognised. There is a power connector on the card, do I need to connect to this? There is no cable supplied and the appalling manual has no info. Also the mobo supports Crossfire, how will I enable Crossfire if I can get the 7770 card working?

That card needs an external connector. If there is no cable then you can use 4-pin molex to 6-pin PCIe connector.

If that's not possible, then replace your PSU. This is a good option-

Thank you. I have purchased a power connector and now the card is recognised and available in Windows 8. However there remains the crossfire option, there is nothing that references this to allow me to enable the option.

Crossfire with two HD 7770 cards. You cannot crossfire A8 with HD 7770
