At this year’s Oculus Connect conference in San Jose, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook is currently developing VR social spaces called “Venues” that will enable you to enjoy live group experience like concerts in virtual reality.

Zuckerberg said that Oculus Venues would offer events such as concerts, sporting events, movie premiers, and TV shows.

Ahh, you'll undoubtedly be able to purchase tickets to view these events virtually, just like you could in person, only at a far lower resolution, and with 99 virtual heads floating around you in place of real people. >_>
