Question Factory reconditioned UPS?

I'm thinking of buying a Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD for a gaming PC. Woot is selling it for $180 factory reconditioned with new batteries and a 1 year warranty, while it's $240 new with a 3 year warranty. Not sure factory reconditioned is worth the savings...

If you divide that $240 investment across 3 years, you're getting a more compelling value with a brnad new UPS that is covered for 3 years as opposed to one you will need to repair after the 1st year if things go sideways. I'd side with the new UPS.

If you can repair the UPS yourself, then the cheaper option is worthwhile.

What sort of specs does your Gaming PC have? Please list the specs to your build like so:

Thanks for the reply. On the gaming PC, I meant it as a more general question. There's the PC I have now - 6700XT, 34" LCD - or one I might get, plus things like a headphone amp, router, etc.
