Factory reset my LT 20 gateway netbook

Netbook turns on but no home screen
Just a flashing line in the upper left corner . HELP.

"Factory Reset" means to bring back a working Computer to its factory condition. Your laptop is not working, you can't perform factory reset. Try booting Windows off USB, and perform repair. Or check with your laptop manufacturer for recovery media.

Just looked over the specs: Windows XP netbook, more than ten years old. Unless you've specifically made a recovery media when it was new, out of the box - I doubt you can revive it. It does not have CD/DVD drive, you don't have media...
