Factory Settings ..Restore

I am trying to restore the Factory Settings on my laptop, I am following the Windows 10 restore function and it keeps telling me that i need to be using mains power even though my laptop is plugged in....Does anyone have a solution?.. Before I throw it out of the window.

Unless the charging port is not faulty, hard resetting the laptop should resolve the issue.

To hard reset, you can:

> Shut down the computer.

> Remove its battery.

> Unplug it from the power supply.

> Press and hold down the Power button for 30-45 seconds.

> Release the Power button.

> Put the battery back in.

> Connect the laptop to the power outlet.

> Retry resetting Windows 10.
