Question fail overclocking q9400

i tried oc my q9400, when i changed the "CPU Frequency Setting" in my bios from 333 up to 400, my bios confirmed that my fsb was 1600, but when it checked my cpu freq in cpuz, the freq stayed in 1333 and the cpu speed stayed the saome , im using g41md mobo
i know that g41 + ich7 have wallbus at 344, even i changed the freq to that number and nothing changed

You need to up a bit cpu voltage and the chipset voltage aka nort bridge to achieve higher clocks , especially with g41.
I had to max out every voltage, including ram, nb and cpu voltage to get high fsb from 266 to 333 on Q6600, only e5800 (pentium) was able to get 450@
