since i tried to overclock my ram (i noticed it was only running at 1600 when its supposed to do 1866) my pc has a very painful startup and i dont know if theres a way to fix that i usually start the pc then turn it off for a minute then i start it again and it works just fine but sometimes everything freezes except browsers games or programs that doesnt come with win 10 even if they are on the system hard drive
ram:hyperx fury 1x8gigs
processor:amd fx-8370
video card:asus strix 660 ti
motherboard: gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3
power supply:cooler master 520W
i dont think it matters much but the case is thermaltake level 10 gt

Solution
have you tried clearing your cmos?

ah glad it worked out. setting to factory doesnt always do the trick as some settings may not change back still. updating your bios is essentially the same as clearing your cmos. it puts it back to a 100% factory state.
