Hello everyone. Yesterday i tried to install Windows 7 64 bit on my computer, parameters were good and everything. I have read threds about installing it without cd/dvd so i tried that option. Everything was going ok till this infamous black screen occured. I tried many options found on the internet but nothing really helped. And now im stuck with error about that system cant complete installation and it keeps resetting. I'm aware of that i wont finish installation without Windows on cd. But my question is, can I somehow restore computer to the Point before installation started? I cant even access desktop im just stuck on that installation failure everytime it restarts, same goes for safe mode.

Solution
If you started a clean setup of Windows over your existing setup, no you can't go back unless you made a backup of the drive before you started.

Start at the beginning, why are you installing Windows again? What disk are you using for the setup? USB/DVD, one you made, OEM disk? Need full details, what do you have, how far exactly did the setup get before it failed. Did you try a clean setup again? Try another Windows setup disk?
