Ongoing battle to reinstall Windows 7 Pro on a recently retired wiped clean HP Z440 workstation. I have the system restore DVD's (3set) that came with an HP Z400 and successfully reinstalled Windows 7 on that. The DVD's state they are for Z400, 600, and 800 workstations. When I put the first DVD in it starts loading Windows files, but then comes up with error msg FAILED TO CHANGE WORKING DIRECTORY.

I don't know if this matters or not, but drives are set as RAID and are listed 0,1,and 3. Drive 0 is listed as non RAID, but above on the same set-up screen it shows volume 0 as RAID 1 (mirror).
Wondering if the fact the the drives were all wiped and are RAID if this is causing the directory issue. I have not dealt with RAID before, so I need advice. I may plan to upgrade to 10, but really want to just get this machine to where it was before within reason. Thanks.
