Hi
I was trying to log into my laptop and after I select the user it gets stuck on the logging screen. I forced shut down and restarted, didn't help. So I went to system restore and restored at earlier point, that didn't help either. Logged in in safe mode ran ccleaner on registry fix.

Now the laptop starts and logs in after some wait however everything is messed up. I get the error 'Failed to connect to a window service'. The wifi isn't working and also the event viewer is corrupted. When I start the laptop it automatically checked files on C drive and deleted a lot of index entry however it this didn't fixany of the problem.

Any help would be appreciated I really do not want to clean install again. Thanks

Solution
Sounds like you want to replace that hard drive and install Windows on the new one. Or try using a cloning program to clone your disk to the other, but those tend to have issues when there are drive errors.
