Failed to overclock?

So, I built my PC today. Everything is up and running without any issues. I have a Ryzen 3 2200G and wanted to overclock it. I used the BIOS on my Asrock AB350M-hdv motherboard, reached 3.750 GHz without any issue. I wanted to try the ryzen master software, so I reset the bios and tuned my CPU to 3,8GHZ @ 1,4Volts and my APU to 1.250GHZ @ 1.2Volts.
Here is the interesting part: I proceeded to restart so the overclock can be applied. But my PC didn't turn on. I had to take the battery out of the mobo and unplug the CPU power to get the PC running. After this, I got a bootloop, so I reset everything in the BIOS. I tuned the speeds down, and had to take the battery out again, but the program loaded the OC when it finally booted. Everytime I used the ryzen software, and tried to reboot, my PC just refused to turn on. Taking the battery out and disconneting the CPU power solved it everytime. The motherboard's BIOS is updated. Am I doing something wrong?
