Failed to partition a 1TB Western Digital hard disk in windows 7

Failed to partition a 1TB Western Digital hard disk in windows 7. It hangs when formatting to partition. its a new Hard disk. What can i do?

load default settings in bios .Change powercables from psu , check sata cable has any lose connection in board and hdd, check the win7 dvd is working , ahint: 102501=100Gb partition
