failed update windows 10 Fall creation update

Today i try update windows to 1709 from 1703 via windows 10 update assistant , but after serval restart and reach 75% and restart but no continue update just some text "rollback to previous version" if i not wrong. can you explain what happend

its possible there are drivers on your system that haven't been updated to work with 1709 features. Check you have latest drivers for motherboard, for instance.

If you wait its likely Win 10 will update itself in time.

Version updates can be troublesome as well.

If you not willing to wait for any drivers, you can download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB and use it to run the updates again (Downloading USB once sure beats downloading the updates multiple times) or use it to clean install win 10 - but this requires backing up anything on hdd C is on as it includes formatting drive.

Fresh installs normally work much better than updates.

opps sorry forget explain this failed on laptop.

my bios not update because some article say that harm if not have bug or issues. that true?

and maybe soon i will fresh install after all data backup.

check you have latest drivers for laptop then, most of the makers have update services on their web sites.

Don't worry about doing BIOS unless same thing happens on fresh install.

by the way, can i use esd file which i have downloaded from windows 10 update assistant to fresh install? because I have backed up the esd file before the update started. and i found how to convert the file to iso
