After rolling back my windows 10 pc to 7 the screen remained black so i rebooted and windows 7 starts to load but fails. System repair fails and after my last attempt now the pc wont post and there is no display.
Ubrales advised you well, but if you want to try Win 10 again, do it the same way. I hear a lot of complaints and bad vibes from people trying to upgrade. I did a clean install (on 2 different machines) and could not be happier. Burn a DVD or make a USB (better, faster). Get it here:
That could very well be it. I did have to get rid of an old card that worked fine in Win 7 and 8. It still functioned, but I could only use the Windows driver. It was an older AMD Radeon, I think a 34xx but I no longer have it to check. I couldn't set the scaling on my second monitor (TV) with the windows driver so I got rid of it. Older GPU drivers seem not to be as compatible with Win 10 as they were between 7 and 8.
