It might be, but you know what, I gave up on memtest due to the same issue I was having. I could never get it to finish without a few errors on some boards. Some boards have some pretty picky settings that can affect the outcome. If these errors are ocurring at the board default settings, then it's up to you as to what you want to do about it. You can return them to the vender if it's within 30 days and pay postage. If the rma stick also gives you the same errors, then you can send it in again and spend more postage and try another brand. Or you can sell the pair on craigslist for a few dollars discount and hope someone shows up to complete the transaction. It's a tough call. I never use memtest anymore. If the errors are serious, I will eventually get some bluescreens and send in the ram for the lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Good luck.
